(February 9, 2004)

Loeb won in his in his Citroen Xsara WRC, hot on the heels of his victory in Monte Carlo Rally, and this win makes him only the third driver to win both events back to back.

A consistently good performance from the off ensured that he finished every first leg stage in the top four and was a rally title contender starting Day Two lying second overall.
